So This Is Christmas
Without further delay i'll intro this piece with a statement of the now obvious. Where do I begin. I really can't tell you much about my Christmas. It all happpened so fast and with little meaning. Don't get me wrong I was able to spend some nice time with family and there were moments when I truly felt the christmas spirit...stop, wait what was the christmas spirit again? For those of you who don't know Christmas isn't about sales and it isn't about guarenteed delivery before 12/24. It has nothing to do with Santa Claus, Pine trees, presents, or putting fucking bows on cars. Oh sweet tits, you gave your wife a lexus, wow strong relationship, you would rather spend 40,000 than use an ounce of thought. And everyone else can enjoy their gifts that they never needed, thats got to make you feel good next time you see those little kids with their pet flys playing hide and seek in trash cans. Oh and Merry Christmas. To me christmas just wasn't the same this year. No one was feeling it so i've decided on this. "What do you get the person that has everything?" a slap in the face with a side of reality check.
Dear Mr. Irrelevant,
Merry Christmas! I hope your holidays are filled with appreciation concerning all that you are blessed with. With the oportunity of a new year approaching us you must be excited at a chance of a clean slate. Well on my way to sears to pick you out a new dvd player I was filled with the thoughts of those poor children whose parents have fallen victim to disease. Just adandoned without food, water, or shelter many of them will suffer and fall victim of starvation and develop infections that poison their already tourmented bodies. So I decided to take the money that i was going to spend on a dvd player for your spare bedroom and donate it to fight poverty because after all, Christmas is about SAVING, not giving or receiving. Oh and I heard that your wife bought you a lexus for christmas. That must make you feel like she loves you.
Merry Christmas!
Ryan McBride
